Recommendations:

Manicure:

  • Regularly exfoliate hands/arms and feet/legs every 1-2 weeks.

  • Dry your hands thoroughly when washing.

Pedicure:

  • Wear loose fitting or open toed shoes after getting  a pedicure.

  • Cycle shoes (Air out in between uses to reduce bacteria and odours).

  • Maintain cleanliness – Keep feet clean and dry to prevent infections on your feet and between your toes. Wear natural breathable socks and shoes.

General:

  • Drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated.

  • Have regular manicure/pedicure treatments every 4-6 weeks to keep the nails healthy.

  • Apply clear topcoat every other day to prevent chipping.

Avoid:

Manicure:

  • Avoid intense heat and the use of excessive hot water for 24 hours to ensure the nails are fully set/dry.

  • Avoid hands in water for long periods of time. (Wear gloves to protect the nails, especially for gardening or washing dishes).

  • Do not use your nails as tools - picking, prising or scratching hard surfaces.

  • Avoid harsh drying soaps and/or chemicals.

  • Do not bite or pick your nails or cuticles (hangnails).

  • Avoid things that could stain your skin and nails, such as foods/spices/fake tan. (wear gloves or use a fake tanning mitt, wash hand immediately after use).

Pedicure:

  • Avoid wearing any tightly fitted footwear after your pedicure.

  • Avoid bare feet in public swimming areas.

General:

  • Avoid picking or peeling the product off as this can ruin your natural nails. (Use nail varnish remover).

  • Avoid filing your nails and pushing cuticles back as this will break the seal on your polish.
