Tinting Aftercare
Please be aware that successful completion of a patch test does not guarantee that an allergic reaction will not occur.
Your chosen tint colour will be mixed in to a paste with an oxidant (stabilised peroxide 10vol). For eyelash tinting, your therapist will apply vaseline around the eye area and use cotton pads to protect the skin. For both lash and brows, the tint will then be carefully applied to the hairs and left to develop. After the tint has developed to the shade required any excess tint will be removed with damp cotton pads.
Although every precaution will be taken to ensure your safety and well-being before, during and after your tinting application, please be aware of the possible risks below.

Irritation to the orbital eye area, including the eye itself and this could result in stinging, burning, blurry vision.

If tint does accidentally come into contact with the eye it will be flushed with water. In extreme cases medical attention may be required.

Possible irritation to the skin which comes in contact with the tint, including itching and burning.

Allergic reaction to the tinting products, which may cause inflammation and redness.

There may be some residual dark staining left on the skin. This will fade and go away within a short time.

Everyone's hair absorbs colour differently and the final colour may not be exactly the colour you wanted.
After treatment:

Avoid rubbing the eyes.

Make-up should not be applied to the eye area for minimum of 12 hours after treatment.

The tint will gradually lighten and fade. Lighter and blonde lashes and brows may require tinting more regularly than darker hair.
You will find your tint should last 4-6 weeks for lash tinting and 3-4 weeks for brow tinting.
